The Town of Tiny Hope
The Town of Tiny Hope is the story of people and animals who lived together in a small village. These stories tell of the adventures that some of the inhabitants (the people and the animals) had, as they lived together or when they traveled to the Big City to see what it was like there. In both Tiny Town and in the Big City, the inhabitants learned to love and care for each other, to see the beauty and greatness of each other, and to help each other when they were in trouble. Let's all read and remember these stories and to live our lives as they did! Life, like this, is just wonderful!

Karol King
Author & Storyteller
Karol King was born into, and grew up in, an extremely strict, conservative, religious sect. Her life was constricted and restricted on all sides by a radical belief system that firmly discouraged, and even forbade, any original or critical thinking or questioning of the church's rigid guidelines. Being "worldly" in the eyes of "her people," was tantamount to being a sinner and unworthy of God's care and blessing. The group read the Bible and "knew" beyond question what was, and was not, God's will for their own lives and for everyone else in the world. For the most part, they kept to themselves, and lived life on their own, and on God's, holy terms.
Even though Karol was carefully and unflinchingly taught to observe the holy customs, she was born with a great love for learning and for reading. Eventually this love led her away from her people, including close friends and family, to a new and different life. Through all her life, books were her best friends, comforting her and giving her glimpses into a world beyond her home and church.
She continued her education and through that, was encouraged to write a part of her life's story. Later, after experiencing the love of her adopted grandchildren and their delight in hearing bedtime stories, she wrote a children's book entitled, "The Town of Tiny Hope."
Besides knowing the joy of reading and writing books, Karol hopes that the story of "Tiny Hope," will lead both children and adults to make KINDNESS the goal and the focus of their lives--kindness to themselves, to each other, and to all that makes up this amazing, beautiful Earth.
